4. All quotations are initially for indication only based on the information given. They may vary once all the details have been provided, any additional options added and amendments undertaken. In some circumstances you may be required to contact our underwriting centre to obtain a definitive quote.

5. Failure to disclose any relevant information including notifications of potential claims that you are aware of at the time of submitting your proposal for insurance or the provision of inaccurate or misleading information or statements may invalidate your insurance policy.

6. You are responsible for reading all the relevant policy documents carefully before buying any insurance policy. It is your responsibility to decide whether the product or service is suitable for your circumstances.

7. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the creation date. If the details are amended during this period, validity will run for 30 days from the date the new quote was generated

Documentation

9. If you complete your purchase online an automated confirmation that your payment has been received will be emailed to you with a number to contact in the event that you do not receive your policy documentation.

10. The policy schedule, policy summary and policy document and other required documents will be emailed to you as PDFs within two working days.

Cancellations

11. If you're unhappy with the cover provided by your policy you have fourteen days from receiving your documents to cancel.  If you don't cancel during this period, your policy will continue as normal.

12. If you cancel during the fourteen days you'll be entitled to a return of the premium paid.  The cancellation will be effective from the beginning of the policy period, as though your policy had never taken effect, and all documentation, including Employers' Liability certificates will be null and void.  If this cancellation would result in your company being without Employers' Liability insurance cover for a period you may wish to take legal advice before cancelling.

13. We have a right to cancel your policy at any time, giving you thirty days notice in writing. If we do cancel your policy we'll refund any part of your premium not yet used. We can also cancel the policy if you do not pay the premium or instalments by the due date and the cancellation will take place from the date the payment was due. If no payments were received by us then the cancellation will be from the beginning of the policy period, as though your policy had never taken effect.

Automatic Policy Renewal

14. Your insurance will be renewed automatically unless you tell us otherwise. If your credit/debit card does not operate a recurring payment scheme you will need to contact us to arrange payment and this will be stated in the renewal documentation sent to you.  Where a recurring payment scheme is in place the same card details given for the initial payment will be used to collect the renewal premium.

15. We will send you details of the amount of the renewal premium and advise any major changes in cover or exclusions approximately one month before the renewal date. You will be responsible for advising Brighter Business Limited  whether there are any changes required in the policy or cover and of any changes to the credit/debit card details. If we do not hear from you to the contrary, we will assume that all the details are still correct, that you have not withdrawn your consent to the automatic renewal scheme, that you have the consent of the card holder, and we will collect the premium and issue the policy documents on the due date.

16. Changes or amendments to the cover or price as a result of customer requested changes will not affect the automatic policy renewal consents.
